Send your favorite music/mp3 file quick and easy to your mobile!

You want a new ringtone for your mobile, or you’d like your mobile to wake you in the morning with your favorite song? Then simply upload the file (.wav, .mp3, or any other music format) to Beam It Up Scotty, choose the compression, and have a text message with a download link sent straight to your mobile phone. You can decide, whether you want it converted for a quick download (32kbit/s) or for the best quality (128kbit/s).

As soon as you receive the text message, click on the link and download the song right on to your phone. You’ll see the approximate download time in the upper-righthand infobox. As soon as the file is downloaded, you can set it as a ringtone or alarm sound. Check your phones manual to find out if your mobile supports mp3 ringtones and how it needs to be configured.

A data flatrate is ideal using Beam It Up Scotty. If you don’t have a flatrate, then be sure to check, that the internet connection is charged by time and not data volume. Especially by larger files, like audio files, being charged by time is almost always an advantage.
